Tim has been associated with real estate since July of 1985 where he had an internship during college at Camino West, a syndicator of real estate investments. He earned his real estate license in January of 1986. Subsequently, he was a loan officer with Cal Fed Mortgage and a Leasing Agent with the Hofmann Co. He entered his reverse mortgage career at American Pacific Reverse Mortgage Group in June, 2017 where he works as a Reverse Mortgage Specialist at American Pacific Reverse Mortgage Group headquarters in Roseville, California.
His reverse mortgage business is based on providing his senior clients a highly personalized service with respect and integrity. He, also, offers insight and planning for the elder years of life. He gained some of that valuable insight by being the executor of his parent’s estate. That experience gave Tim the passion to help seniors in their retirement.
Tim has been married to his lovely wife, Angela Gitt, for 30 years. She is a successful Realtor of 30 years with Lyon Real Estate. They have two adult daughters: Sarah, a graduate in Economics from CSU Sacramento and International Business MBA at St. Mary’s. Maddie graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2018 with a degree in Psychology. She works as a Special Need Instructor Assistant at a local high school in Sacramento.
In his spare time, Tim has a passion for music, cycling, disc golf and wine. A huge fan of music, Tim is a former founder and singer of a local Dad’s band, The Rolling Gnomes. In his attempt to slow Father Time, Tim is an athlete. This includes participating in multi-sport events of swimming and cycling. He’s climbed Mount Shasta four times, swam from Alcatraz twice, a 4-time veteran of California Alps “Death Ride” and has twice cycled from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe in a day.
