| | Des has been in the residential lending business since 1992, originating FHA, VA, Conventional and Construction loans. In 2000 Des began originating Reverse Mortgage Loans and became active in Reverse Mortgage Education presentations. In 2005 Des was involved in the formation of American Pacific Reverse Mortgage Group and is the Director. Overseeing the reverse platform for 168 branches of American Pacific Mortgage, consistently ranked in the top 100 in reverse mortgage originators in the United States, Des still manages to stay involved with the local associations as a member of SAR and Yolo Association of Realtors for the last 18 years and also a member of National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association.
